Hate the Centred Taskbar in Windows 11? Here’s How to Move It

Moving the Windows 11 Taskbar to the Left

If you prefer your taskbar icons on the left, just like in older versions of Windows, here is a quick way to change it.

Step 1: Open Taskbar Settings

1. Right-click on any empty space on your Taskbar.
2. Choose “Taskbar settings” from the menu that appears.

Step 2: Find the Alignment Option

1. In the Taskbar settings window, scroll down until you see the section called “Taskbar behaviours”.
2. Click on this section to expand its settings.

(H3) Step 3: Change the Taskbar Alignment

1. Look for the setting labelled “Taskbar alignment”. It will currently say “Centre”.
2. Click the dropdown box next to it.
3. Choose “Left” from the options.

Your taskbar will instantly snap back to the left, just like in Windows 10.
